During KUNSTLIJN HAARLEM on November 2 and 3, the exhibition SEE ME by the photographers Elizabeth Alderliesten and Jet van Gaal can be seen. In the Zocherlounge in Bloemendaal. SEE ME opens the eyes to the vulnerability in all of us. The two photographers each represent this in their unique way.

ABOUT BEAUTY Elizabeth Alderliesten graduated this year from the Photo Academy in Amsterdam. She shows her graduation project “About Beauty” about the tension between wanting to be seen and being chameleonically absorbed in the environment. She approaches that tension from the female perspective. Especially for this exhibition, she shows new work from the same series.

BLUEPRINT Jet van Gaal exhibits the Blueprint series “Your skin is the blueprint of your life”. Here she shows the beauty, tactility, and vulnerability of the body. She shows us the beauty of what we often experience as imperfections. A few images from this series were shown at Foto Festival Naarden last summer and will now be shown in a new composition.
